Discipleship Groups
Jesus came to Earth as a man, and instead of building a huge church, He built a group of 12 men to pour His life into. These men, known as the Apostles, then went on to shake the World and advance God’s Kingdom to every continent. The heartbeat of Chi Alpha is discipleship; living life together and helping each other become more like Christ. We do this by forming Discipleship Groups in which we can be vulnerable, known, and shaped into the image of Jesus. It is our mission to see “all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues” worshipping Jesus and it starts with you!
Corporate Worship
“You become like what you worship.” God has created us to worship and He is the only one worthy of that worship! As a fellowship, we come together often during the School Year to worship, pray, and hear a word about God. It helps us to be united together for something bigger than ourselves and is a joy that we get to share together.
Fellowship
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. -1 Peter 3:8
One of the best parts of college is to meet lifelong friends, go through college together, and make memories. We love to hangout with one another and to have fun, made sweeter by the fact that we love Jesus together! Throughout the year, we do lots of things as a whole group and as Discipleship Groups to laugh, grow closer to one another, and make the most of our time in college.
